Steven Oldale B.Sc, D.C.
Steven graduated from the AECC in Bournemouth in 1994. He initially worked in Kent for a year before moving to Hertfordshire to work with Graham Heale, a previous president of the British Chiropractic Association. Graham had a particular interest in recognising when joints were stable or lax (moving too much). This is very important in achieving good results with clients. He also had a growing interest in the nascent active rehabilitation and stabilisation techniques that were growing in stature at that time. Graham helped tutor Steven and guide him with his wealth of experience and passion for chiropractic.
Steven worked with Graham for 5 years before moving to Poole to be back near the coast. In the following years he worked part-time at the AECC as a clinical tutor from 2001-2010. During his career he has attended courses on active rehabilitation, functional sports nutrition, neurological assessment and treatment of mild traumatic brain injuries and whiplash, Sacro-Occipital technique plus numerous other courses such as dry needling. He is currently doing ongoing studies for functional neurology. This is a very exciting field that looks at analysing and if appropriate treating functional weakness with a variety of methods not just the conventional chiropractic manipulation.
Working as part of a team at the AECC further enhanced Steven's knowledge of techniques and approaches to a variety of conditions.
Steven has explored and studied the functional medicine approach to health through the application of supplements to enhance wellbeing and provide the frame work for good healing and anti-inflammatory diets. This is an important part of achieving optimal health.
So our approach is to give you the raw materials for good health, the improved function for efficient movement and active rehabilitation to stabilise and maintain that good function.
If you'd like to experience this holistic but evidence based approach to improved musculo-skeletal health then just give us a call on 01202 733355.
