About Initial Consultation
You will be welcomed and asked to fill out a brief questionnaire relating to your general health and contact details. After watching a short video you will have a better understanding about Chiropractic and how your nerves, spine and joints work and can cause pain. You will be given a tour of the clinic and introduced to your Chiropractor.
Your Chiropractor will consult with you in confidence, asking detailed questions relating to your present complaint, past history and lifestyle. You will have the time to provide him with all relevant information.
Please bring your own shorts as we may not have the correct size and may not be comfortable.
The Chiropractor will carry out a concise 60 point physical examination:
- Including a spinal check as well as nerve, muscle and organ function tests
- Appropriate X-rays may be taken if deemed necessary in order for your Chiropractor to fully understand the structural and postural integrity of your spine
We will then carry out our unique Health check involving a:
- BMI (Body Mass Index)
- Body Fat % Test
- Height and Weight
- Weight Balance
- Bilateral Blood Pressure (taken both sides)
- Spirometer Test (Measuring Your Lung Capacity)
- Standing Balance Test (Proprioception)
Digital Posture Analysis
We will then examine your posture with our Posture Analysis Examination equipment which we use to check your structural posture. A Digital Posture Analysis which will be provided on an A4 printout or to your required email address. This will be saved for comparison reports for your next re-exam where we will check for improvements.
